College Football 27 – Dynasty Sliders

My experience with College Football 26 was a reminder that starting with good gameplay sliders is truly only half the battle. I experienced a major issue with too many teams reaching 95-99 Overall. Far too many players were vastly overpowered as well. There are also a few coach abilities that can make this into a larger issue (higher ability to keep 1st Rd talent, for one) – don’t do it.

Here are the NTTV XP Slider Settings to kick off College Football 27. Below the XP Sliders, you will find my initial Gameplay Sliders as well.

  • Coach XP – Slower
  • Coach Auto Progress – On
  • Auto Player Development – On
  • Pre-Order Bonus – User Choice (I set this to On if I’m using a non-Power 5 Conference Team)
  • Injuries – 24
  • Fatigue – 57
  • Precip Settings- All are 50
  • Quarter Length – 12
  • Acc Clock – 15

The XP Sliders are set up to combat specific positions from reaching 99 ratings by their junior year. Also, setting these too low/high will impact your recruiting class quality.

  • XP Sliders
  • QB – 35
  • HB – 30
  • FB – 200
  • WR – 30
  • TE – 75
  • OT – 95
  • OG – 85
  • C – 105
  • DE – 75
  • DT – 70
  • MLB – 95
  • OLB – 75
  • CB – 85
  • SS – 75
  • FS – 75
  • P/K – 125

Transfer Settings – Make sure while selecting your coach abilities that you are careful about preventing players from entering the draft or entering the portal. I recommend using Best Advice as the only anti-draft because most players should at least listen to bypassing as a 3-7th round pick. If a player is a 1st or 2nd Round talent, just use your base level to convince them to stay.

  • Max Transfers – 12
  • CPU Chance – 24
  • User Transfer Chance –
  • 0-1 Star = 22
  • 2 Star = 27
  • 3 Star = 33
  • 4 Star = 36
  • 5 Star = 41

NOTE – When working with the motivator abilities you need to consider the transfer settings at the beginning. Transfers are incredibly common now and if you select the ability to further limit transfers I will skew realism. I recommend setting max transfers to 14 if you utilize this perk.

Gameplay Sliders – All American Difficulty using no switch for pass defense. I will be utilizing timing based user catch on offense to start as CF26 had so many stupid drops do to the same hit in the back/side animations. If this proves to be OP, I will switch back to no user catching.

  • HUM/CPU
  • QB Acc – 37/32
  • Pass Block – 51/55
  • WR Catch – 47/49
  • Run Block – 49/52
  • Ball Security – 50/50
  • Pass D Reaction – 53/51
  • Interceptions – 31/29
  • Pass Cover – 52/50
  • Tackling – 44/50
  • FGP – 51/51
  • FGA – 45/45
  • PuntP – 54/54
  • PuntAcc – 49/49
  • Kickoff Power – 50/50

Wear and Tear Sliders –

  • Normal Tackle – 25
  • Catch Tackle – 28
  • Hit Stick – 38
  • Cut Stick – 38
  • Defender Advantage – 42
  • Sack – 36
  • Block – 25
  • Impact Block – 38
  • Per Play Recovery – 49
  • Per Timeout – 53
  • Per Quarter – 58
  • Per Halftime – 65
  • Week to Week – 80

This is the first iteration of these sliders, keep your eyes open for updates.
