How to Get a Jet in Battlefield 3 (…and fail miserably) – updated with newest video

*NOTE – After this video was made, DICE has released TWO Updates/Patches (the first allows you to now get into a jet from the ground.  Beware, players can still spawn into them – so your best bet is still to spawn into a jet if you want one!

Am I a terrible pilot?  Not really.

Am I a terrible fighter pilot?  Yes.

  1. You can hop into a plane from the ground OR spawn into it. Both ways work. Same way you enter a vehicle, but must be near the cockpit for it to work.

    1. You are correct as of a couple weeks ago… Up until the point of the recent 1.2GB patch it was impossible to get into a jet any other way…

      I will be posting an update in order to show your point exactly.
